Hayden: "I Chose Protocol for GWA and Fair Pay!"

13/04/18

What made you decide to teach in England?

Seeking a new and different experience while travelling through Europe as frequently as possible.

Why did you choose Protocol Education as your agency?

Initially because Protocol Education delivered a seminar at my University. However after looking at other companies, Protocol offer better pay rates with no umbrella companies. Also guaranteed work!

How did you find the process of registering in Australia?

Very easy, the consultant I worked with organised everything I needed. It was really just completing some paper work and sending through a few documents.

What are the biggest differences you have found between teaching in England and teaching in Australia?

Overall, the behaviour of students here in the U.K is worse than Australia. I work both in Primary and Secondary and have found that both have challenging behaviours.

Tell us 3 things you enjoy most about living in England.

• How easy it is to travel through Europe.
• London is beautiful and a fantastic place to live (food, bars, sights, history, sport etc…)
• Experiencing different ways of living and cultures.

Any travel tips or advice to teachers planning to make the move?

• Travel as frequently as possible. If your primary intention is to see Europe… Keep that at the forefront. Of course plenty of beers and bars!
