Job description
Protocol Education and Primary schools across North London are looking for energetic, passionate an dynamic youth workers, to work with our next generations. Mentoring and guiding as well as supporting the teachers within the classroom.

A relevant qualification or a degree would be hugely advantageous but what is more important is the right attitude, a desire to support and develop pupils. They are of course our future.

You will require a clear and enhanced DBS and will need to provide 2 references.

Your role will include but not to:

•managing projects

•planning and organising appropriate activities for the children

•promoting young people's interests

•maintaining records

•liaising and working with parents, schools and other community groups/organisations

•providing advocacy and counselling to pupils

as well as:

providing general assistant support within the classroom as a whole and taking small groups of children out of the classroom.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
