Job description
A Northumberland secondary school is currently recruiting for committed individuals with experience of supporting young people with challenging behaviour. The successful candidates will support progress by providing classroom supervision for students whose regular teacher is absent. They will be expected to deliver pre-planned learning activities and establish productive working relationships with students in a stimulating and orderly learning environment


This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in:

• Prison officers/ tutors

• Military
• Graduates

The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience with children and young people with Special Educational Needs.
• Have a confident and friendly personality
• Remain calm in stressful situations
• Show a genuine interest of working with children and young people
• Show a desire to motivate disengaged learners
