Protocol Education are working on behalf of a number of Secondary Schools in the Northumberland area to recruit committed individuals with experience of supporting young people with challenging behaviour. The successful candidates will support pupils with social, emotional and mental health problems aged between 11-18 in their day to day learning and routines.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in:
• Youth Work
• Support work and residential care
• Learning Mentoring
• Prison officers/ tutors
• Police
• Military
• Graduates in Psychology
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience with children and young people with Special Educational Needs.
• Have a confident and friendly personality
• Remain calm in stressful situations
• Show a genuine interest of working with children and young people
• Show a desire to motivate disengaged learners
