Job description
Protocol Education are pleased to be assisting one of our multi client schools with their recruitment of Youth Workers.

The school is part of a federation consisting of 5 centres across Manchester for secondary age students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). Students within these centres have been excluded from mainstream education some on a short term basis while others are on a permanent exclusion. While the centres do follow the national curriculum, there is also focus on addressing their SEMH needs.

Currently they are looking to recruit 2 youth workers on a full time basis. Both roles are on a supply assignment with a view to becoming a permanent role in the future for the right candidate. You will be based at one centre but on occasions, due to the outreach nature of the role, will need to travel to other centres.

To apply for these exciting roles you will need:

•To have at least 1 years relevant experience within youth work
•To hold a current and clean drivers licence with access to a vehicle.
•Ideally be trained in Team Teach or similar training
•Be able to start immediately and commit to the long term role
•Hold a enhanced and registered DBS

Pay for these roles are dependent on experience and qualifications.
