Protocol Education are always doing our best to recruit the best support staff who can have a positive impact towards the students of the future. We are currently recruiting long term candidates to start work one of our outstanding special needs schools in Lambeth to work with in an outstanding special needs school to work with students aged from 9 to 18 years old. As a specialist school you will have the opportunity to work with students with a range of needs such as autism, speech & language, sensory disorders and varying levels of heightened emotions. As a teaching assistant you will work with students on a one to one basis, promoting learning, establishing a positive learning experience and managing behaviours.

This is a full-time support position up until the end of the 2021/2022 academic school year, with the opportunity of continuing into the next academic year.

Responsibilities:
  • Working on one to one basis
  • Differentiating the work to students
  • Managing pupils behaviour
  • Developing students social skill and teaching life skills
  • Ensuring students engage with lessons, providing academic support and working under the instruction of the class teacher
