We are currently recruiting youth support teaching assistants to work in an alternative provision located in Wandsworth to start after half-term. This particular school caters for secondary students with social emotional mental health difficulties, behaviour and autism. As a teaching assistant you will be supporting students on a one to one basis, managing behaviour, supporting students in core lessons such as English, Maths and science and educating students on future choices. This school are looking for people who have experience with behaviour, have a good understanding of English and Maths, able to differentiate the work to meet the students needs and confident mentoring students.

The role:
  • Working Monday to Friday
  • Committed to a long-term role
  • Supporting students with SEMH and learning difficulties
  • Mentoring and teaching students on a one to one basis
  • Confident with the national curriculum
  • Able to manage challenging behaviour
