Several of our leading Special Needs schools based in the scenic areas of Reigate, Woking, and Epsom, are currently recruiting experienced youth mentors to join their impeccable team. The roles are for a September start, Monday to Friday, on a temporary to permanent basis and will run through to the end of the academic year.

What will my role consist of?
-Working in a classroom of 5-6 pupils, on both a 1:1 and small group basis.
-Assisting pupils with special needs, ranging from, but not limited to, ASD, Autism, down syndrome, and challenging behaviour.
-Working interactively with the children; taking part in their daily activities and helping them to overcome any obstacles they may face throughout the day.

What previous experience is needed?
-Due to the nature of the children, previous experience of working with special needs children is preferred, but not essential.
-You must have a form of child-based/ care working/ youth mentoring experience in the UK within the last 3 years
-Most importantly, you must be passionate about working in special needs!
