Job description
Year 6 Teacher required in a North Leeds School

The ideal Teacher will ideally have experience of teaching a year 6 class previously and have a clear understanding of moderation levels within Key Stage 2. The teacher will also need the ability to ensure children attain their potential and accelerate their progress in all curriculum subjects especially targeting the higher attaining pupils. SATs experience would be a plus. They will also have the following:

* A degree level qualification and QTS

* A high passion for teaching and working with children

* A Self-motivated and determined attitude- with an aim to succeed or challenge themselves

* The ability to teach children of all abilities and ensure challenge is a key factor to engage children’s attention and forward their progression

*A clear understanding of the monitoring and assessment process with a history of co-moderation across upper KS 2
