Job description
We currently have an opportunity available for a qualified teacher to lead student's learning within a school in Rotherham, S65. The school is rated good by OFSTED and has a welcoming and supportive staff.

This role is open to job share or full-time candidates. This is a fixed term position for 1 year with the potential to become a long-term position if the successful candidate(s) show and deliver in enthusiasm, quality and ability in increasing children's progress.

Role Responsibilities:
• Plan and resource work for children in the class according to their needs and the curriculum.
• Take on a subject specialist area to contribute to the development plan of the school.
• Assess the children against their personalised targets and milestones.
• Ensure the safety of all children in your care according to current safeguarding guidelines.

Person Specification
• Knowledge of the KS2 Primary Curriculum.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• A passion for working with KS2 children.
• Understanding of the foundation stage curriculum and transition.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• The ability to use your own initiative.
• Must be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
