Year 6 Teacher Needed
Protocol Education are currently seeking an upper KS2 Teacher, for a community centred school in the Pellon area of Halifax . The temporary position is set to start at October half term break continue for the rest of the academic year covering a Maternity leave.
The applicants must be able to demonstrate their clear understanding of what constitutes outstanding teaching and learning and be creative with lesson planning as the school runs a thematic teaching curriculum. Their focus for the new Term is based around raising attainment in Literacy including children’s understanding of Reading skills.
The required person will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Up to date knowledge of the New British National Curriculum
* Relevant recent teaching experience within KS2
*An understanding of attainment levels, moderation and assessment criteria for KS2
*Accurate and up to date knowledge of moderation and assessment
