Year 6 Teacher | Permanent Role | Wakefield

A supportive primary school in Wakefield is looking for a confident and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team permanently. The school has strong behaviour systems, engaged families, and leadership that understands the realities of Upper KS2.

Your role:

  • Teaching and preparing a Year 6 class for SATs and transition
  • Creating engaging and focused lessons
  • Supporting pupils academically and emotionally during their final primary year
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and leadership

The school is looking for:

  • UK QTS
  • Strong KS2 curriculum knowledge
  • Confidence leading a classroom independently
  • Positive behaviour management and communication skills
