Year 6 Teacher – Watford Primary School

A friendly and progressive primary school in Watford is looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher for September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to guide a confident and well-behaved Year 6 class through their final term of primary school. The role focuses on post-SATs learning, enrichment, and supporting pupils as they transition smoothly into secondary education. The school is known for its inclusive values, strong leadership, and genuine commitment to staff wellbeing.

About the Role:

  • Teach a motivated and respectful Year 6 class
  • Support pupils after SATs and prepare them for the move to secondary school
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive team and leadership staff
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Has experience in Year 6 or Upper Key Stage 2
  • Is organised, calm, and consistent in their approach
  • Can inspire and support pupils during their final primary term
  • Brings positivity, flexibility, and a good sense of humour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
