Here at Protocol we are searching for a qualified and passionate Year 6 (KS2) Teacher to join one of our Sheffield schools. A successful candidate will be searching for an inspiring and highly rewarding role and will be assisted by our committed team of consultants to ensure you have all the support you need throughout.

Within this role you will be expected to have good teaching and classroom management and complete behind the scenes record keeping and marking. As well as monitor pupils progress, devising appropriate strategies for maintaining or improving attainment. You will also be expected to regularly communicate with parents, colleagues and other professionals to ensure the best tailored approach is being delivered. As this role is focused on the teaching of older KS2 pupils you will also be potentially assisting with SATS and will be responsible for the preparation of students both educationally and mentally leading up to this time.

To be successful in this role experience teaching at a KS2 level and good knowledge of the curriculum is required. You will also have variety of adaptable teaching methods and good understanding of the need for patience, versatility and diversity and be able to support with the emotional needs of pupils as they enter secondary transition. You will need to be professional but also have a fun and approachable attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
