Job description
Protocol Education are currently working with a Mainstream Primary School in the Reading, Berkshire to recruit an upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to start in January 2019.
This school aim to foster an understanding of all faiths and cultures; a respect for one another and the environment in which they all live. Emphasis is placed on encouraging self-knowledge and an understanding of what it means to contribute towards a strong, cohesive community.
The ethos of the school is based on an I can positive culture, where children are taught that with help they can aim high and succeed.
This school is currently looking for a Year 6 Class Teacher for January and it is essential for this role to have had experience in teaching year 6 and undertaking KS2 SATs preparations.

To be suitable for this position you will also need:
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Extensive knowledge of the national curriculum for Key Stage 2, with particular experience in teaching Year 6
• Strong classroom management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Innovative and resourceful teaching methods
