Job description
Protocol Education are recruiting on behalf of a school in the Henbury area of Bristol for a Teaching Assistant from September. The role will be working full school time hours (8.30-3.30) 5 days per week on an ongoing basis until Christmas and potentially beyond. The position available is in a year 5 class and is to cover maternity.

You will require previous experience ideally of working with children of a primary age. Any qualifications will be beneficial but not essential.

In order to apply for this role you will/must:

-Be able to start from the 5th September - Interview 4th September
-Be willing to work in a Year 5 class
-Have current Key Stage 2 Experience ideally in Year 4 or 5
-Be able to teach phonics
-Have experience of running intervention groups with children e.g. Numicon, Speech and Language, reading/writing booster groups
-Be flexible and adaptable
-Have a good understanding of SEND
-Have strong behaviour management skills - (positive, nurturing)
-Be willing to carry out a lunch duty
