Pay: £160 – £230 per day PAYE
Contract: Full-Time Position
Start Date: September 2026 - July 2027
Duration: Long-Term Role with Potential to Become Permanent

Protocol Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and ambitious Year 5 Teacher for a supportive primary school in Slough.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys helping pupils prepare for the transition into Upper Key Stage 2 while building confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations ahead of Year 6.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum
• Creating a positive and challenging learning environment
• Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Monitoring progress and implementing targeted interventions where needed
• Working closely with colleagues and parents to maximise pupil outcomes
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching within KS2
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge learners
• A collaborative and positive attitude
