Protocol Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic primary school in Enfield seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The school is looking for a confident and engaging teacher who can inspire pupils, raise attainment and create a classroom environment where every child feels supported and motivated to succeed.

The role:

  • Teach a Year 5 class across the primary curriculum
  • Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and differentiated lessons
  • Monitor, assess and support pupil progress
  • Prepare pupils for the transition towards Year 6 and the demands of upper KS2
  • Promote high expectations of behaviour, learning and achievement
  • Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents/carers

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • High expectations of all pupils
  • A creative, enthusiastic and committed approach to teaching
  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
