Protocol Education are looking for a year 5 class teacher to work at one of our client schools in East Manchester. The school will pay up to £200 per day for the right candidate and hope to build a strong relationship with a regular member of staff who will become part of the team! This position would be a long term poisition starting in september and would contiue for the whole academic year.
The school are ideally looking for commitment from a strong KS2 teacher who will uphold outstanding teaching standards. The school is OFSTED GOOD.
Year 5 - Key Responsibilities
-The successful member of staff will have a sound knowledge and understanding of the Year 5 curriculum
-Maintain outstanding standards of teaching and learning in line with curriculum schemes followed at the school
-Be able to scaffold and stretch learning to maximise potential
-Liaise with member of the KS2 department to ensure continuity and support best practice
-Read and adhere to all school policies including Safeguarding, behaviour and assessment.
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
To succeed in the role, you will need to:
- Have QTS or QTLS status.
- Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks.
- Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
