Job description
I am currently working with a primary school in the West London borough of Hillingdon to recruit a Year 4 Teacher for a part-time maternity cover to start in January.

The school are larger than the average primary school, however still manage to maintain a friendly and supportive environment for all children and staff. With strong emphasis on pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, the school are able to create a warm and welcoming feel to all new staff, as well as excellent relationships between staff, students and the wider community.

In this role you will be taking on the class teacher responsibilities for a year four class, sharing the role with an experience teacher.
The position is to cover a maternity at least until the end of the academic year in July. The position is for 2 days a week working Thursday & Fridays
You will benefit from shared planning and preparation not just with you colleague in year 4 but in the year group as a whole.

This role would suit an experienced teacher, who feels comfortable with positive behaviour management. The standards are high and as such childrens behaviour is excellent, resulting from mutual respect and a fun and nurturing environment. It's therefore important to be able to uphold this working within the ethos of the school. You will need to hold QTS in the UK and have experience working as a Class Teacher in a similar role.
