Job description
I am currently working with a warm and friendly Primary school in the West London borough of Hillingdon, who are looking for an experience KS2 Primary teacher to take on a 3 day a week job-share from January.

The school benefits from exceptional levels of behaviour and as such they are looking for a practitioner who will embrace their ethos of respect for all and believes in a positive approach to behaviour management. You will benefit from shared planning and preparation as well as an approachable senior leadership team, many of whom started as NQTs at the school themselves. They understand the importance of dedication and passion for teaching as well as a work life balance and encourage a strong sense of community within the school as a whole.

You will be working as part of a team sharing the workload between yourself and an experienced colleague, as well as enjoying shared planning and preparation for the subjects across rest of the year group.

The school itself is large and well resourced with lots of care and attention given to what makes a great working environment not just for students but staff too. They are lucky enough to have loads of space both inside and outside the classroom, as well as having a strong record for sports and other extra curricular activities.

The school is close to the station served by both the Piccadilly and metropolitan line but also has parking both on site and in the surrounding residential area.

This position is a maternity cover so you will need to be committed till at least the end of the academic year to ensure continuity and stability for the children.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher to take a step back from working a full week, or for someone returning after a break wanting to come back to teaching part-time initially before securing a full-time position next September. Whatever the reason, if this sounds like it could be the perfect position for you, then please do get in touch ASAP.
