Protocol Education are currently working with a Primary School in Westminster who are looking for a SEND TA to join their Year 4 class.

This is a full-time, term-time post which will run for the full academic year.

For the strongest candidate, this may lead to a permanent position at the school.

Interviews and trials are taking place immediately.

About the school:

This school in Westminster is a large over subscribed Primary school who have a number of students in their school with additional needs.

SLT were rated Outstanding in their latest OFSTED and go above and beyond to ensure staff well-being is looked after.

The school is close to several underground stations and is easily accessible from a number of routes.

About the Role:

You will be working with a child in Year 4 with Autism.

The child is very high functioning but needs extra support within class to access some areas of the curriculum and keep on task.

You will work closely with the SENDCO and class teacher to support the child academically, socially and emotionally.

What we need from you: 

If you have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or are passionate about improving the outcomes for young people, this is the role for you.

 As an individual you will be passionate about supporting SEND children and this will be evident in your positive approach on a daily basis.

It is desired (although not essential) that applicants have a qualification in Team Teach and experience in working with children with SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
