Year 3 Teacher

We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Kingswood looking for a Year 3 Teacher to join their KS2 team.

The role

You’ll be responsible for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging lessons and creating a calm, positive learning environment where children can thrive.

The role includes:

• Planning and delivering lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Supporting pupils’ progress in reading, writing and maths
• Creating an inclusive classroom environment
• Monitoring progress and adapting teaching where needed
• Working closely with colleagues, support staff and parents
• Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence and curiosity

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 3
• Builds positive relationships quickly
• Delivers engaging and organised lessons
• Has strong classroom management and communication skills
• Wants to make a positive impact in the classroom
