Job description
I am currently looking for a Year 2 teacher for a long term, part time contract at a Primary School based in Stevenage, North Hertfordshire.

This is a part-time, long term cover role starting in January 2019 and ongoing until July 2019. It will be part time (4 days a week - totally flexible on which 4 days can be offered) and the school will consider both NQTs and experienced teachers. There is also an opportunity to go permanently in September 2019 or go full time.

This large primary school in Stevenage are a strong team, and they offer a fantastic learning environment for children and working environment for teachers.They are on a very exciting journey to be the best they can possibly be, and are looking for teachers who can share this vision and get involved. They welcome any new and fresh ideas.

In KS1, there are full time teaching assistants and a Intervention TA available to help the delivery of interventions across your class. There is also support by a non-class-based phase leader (the Deputy Head).

The suitable candidate MUST:
- Have QTS/PGCE
- Have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Be committed to the role and all duties involved
- Assist with planning, delivery and assessment
