Protocol Education is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Slough seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact during a crucial stage of children's learning journey, helping pupils build confidence in reading, writing, phonics, and numeracy while fostering a love for learning.

The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned to the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Support pupils as they transition from EYFS into more structured learning
  • Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment
  • Assess pupil progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching within KS1
  • Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and phonics
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Passionate about helping every child achieve their potential
  • Positive, proactive, and team-focused approach
