Job description
Year 1 Teacher needed!

Protocol Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a small, independent prep school in Loughton for a Qualified Year 1 teacher who would be available from March 2019 until July 2019. The school currently has 260 children from the ages 2½ to 11 years old and there are 10 children in each of the 3 Reception classes.

This full-time position will be contracted for 2 terms. Experience working with children within KS1 is required. If you are a vibrant KS1 teacher looking for an inclusive and forward thinking school then this could be a great opportunity for you.

About the Role
* EYFS Teacher
* Full Time
* 5 days a week (Monday - Friday)
* £130-£160 a day (Dependent on Experience)
* Planning and teaching lessons within the KS1 curriculum
* March start

In order to be considered for this Year 1 Teacher role you will need to meet the following criteria:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
* Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
* Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks on update service or willing to take one
*Experience of teaching the lower year primary years

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools.
If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
