Job description
Are you a Learning Hero? We are looking for a full-time Year One class teacher, to start in January or sooner if possible.

At the heart of a thriving village on the edge of Windsor Great Park, our child-centred education begins in the 2-year-old and 3-year-old nurseries, continuing through our two-form entry Reception and Years 1 & 2. Our spacious school grounds provide ample opportunity for outdoor learning. Ofsted's January 2018 inspection judged us as a Good school.

Whether you are an experienced or a newly qualified teacher we offer:

• A welcoming, inclusive and diverse school with confident and respectful children, established and dedicated staff, supportive governors and parents, and an active PTA.

• An excellent learning environment with well-maintained buildings, well-resourced outside play areas and equipment.

• Access to wider support and collaborative working with our partner schools.

• A beautiful place to live and work, with rural surroundings, the nearby towns of Windsor and Staines, and accessible road and rail links to London.

• Exclusive benefits through Surrey Benefits scheme.

• Employee Well-being and Assistance scheme.

• Targeted CPD opportunities, to suit your level of experience.

• On-site parking.

We are looking for a teacher who is:

• good or outstanding.

• a good communicator with excellent organisational skills.

• willing to work as part of a hardworking friendly and supportive team.

• able to provide an engaging curriculum that inspires children to learn.

• organised and flexible, knowledgeable in assessment procedures, effective in applying current knowledge.

• confident using a range of learning, teaching and behaviour management strategies, and understands their application for personalised learning.

Shortlisting will take place on 15th October and interviews will be held on 18th October.
