Protocol Education is delighted to support a highly respected three-form entry primary school in Enfield with the appointment of a dedicated Year 1 teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team from September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a Year 1 class, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Plan and assess in line with EYFS transition and Year 1 curriculum expectations
  • Support pupils' academic and personal development during their crucial transition year
  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and promote a unified approach
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in EYFS and/or KS1
  • Strong understanding of early learning goals and phonics teaching
  • A nurturing and patient approach, with high expectations for all learners
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team
  • A reflective, forward-thinking mindset focused on continual improvement
