We have a primary school situated in Darlington looking for a strong, hardworking and inclusive Year 1 classroom teacher to start in September.

The school works hard to encourage all the children to be happy, confident, diligent and ambitious whilst providing them with a storehouse of factual knowledge and the skills to use it. Teachers are well supported and are encouraged to ensure that the whole school is an excellent learning environment for the children.

The successful candidate must;

• Have an outstanding knowledge of the Key Stage 1 Curriculum.
• Have a teaching qualification suitable for primary education.
• Be able to demonstrate experience of teaching in the primary curriculum.
• Show excellent teamwork skills.
• Maintain positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues to achieve the best results possible.
• Show perseverance and maintain a can do' attitude and aspire to achieve goals.
• Value the diversity of people's circumstances and backgrounds.
