Year 1 teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and committed Year 1 Primary School Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive school community. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectively.
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement, and wellbeing.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 or a strong understanding of Year 1 curriculum requirements.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A passion for developing young learners and helping them succeed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
