The Year 1 Primary Teaching Role

As a newly qualified or experienced teacher you will be a part of the schools EYFS/KS1 team to provide energetic and stimulating lessons that include a range of creative teaching methods. You will be a part of the schools teaching team that are supportive and welcoming and offer support and help to ensure the well being and successful development of pupils. You will liaise with both staff and parents/carers to ensure that each pupil is achieving and receiving a tailored lesson plan that is most suitable to their learning needs.

Each student's ability will be varied and as the Year 1 teacher, you will be required to create, plan, prepare and deliver lessons that encourage play and learning that will ensure students to stay engaged, motivated to achieve in their first part of their education and learning journey.

The Year 1 Primary Teacher Specification

The ideal candidate for this Year 1 teaching position will be enthusiastic and highly motivated to succeed in a career of primary teaching. Our clients are looking specifically for positive candidates who are excited to start in September 2016.

Our client requires either a newly qualified teacher (NQT) looking for their first teaching role to build and develop their primary school teaching skills and experience or an experienced teacher looking to embark on their next primary teaching challenge to deliver their skills and experiences. Either as a newly qualified or experienced teacher, you should possess a passion for teaching and learning that can be promoted through planning or delivery of lesson plans to ensure that pupils enjoy their first steps into their lifelong learning and cannot wait to attend school each morning.

You should be open to continuous professional development (CPD) to ensure that your teaching is of a good quality and that pupils are engaged, learn well and make brilliant progress through your creative teaching methods.

All applicants require

Have the legal right to work in the UK

Hold QTS or a UK recognized equivalent teaching qualification;

Be able to provide 2 references, covering a minimum 6 month period within the last year, from senior members of staff who have seen you teach.

Hold or be prepared for us to apply for a full DBS
