Job description
A Primary school in Chesterfield are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled teacher to join a great team in September.They are a forward looking school with strong partnerships with the community and 163 children currently on roll. The school is ocated in the town of Killamarsh, in NE Derbyshire and have a team of enthusiastic, committed and caring staff who put children’s progress at the top of their agenda. In partnership with the community the school promotes a friendly, positive ethos that values individuals, motivates and engages children to achieve their best.

The pupils need a teacher who:-

Is enthusiastic about teaching and learning

Can identify individuals’ next steps and support them in making fast progress

Inspires children in varied learning activities

Values children’s uniqueness

The school are seeking to appoint a dynamic, skilled teacher who is:

Willing to embrace challenge

Work as part of an effective team

Play a role in the enterprising culture we have developed for children

Contribute to an exciting curriculum

The post is for a Year 5 Class teacher and will commence on the 5th September 2016. Applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers are welcomed. This post is initially temporary to cover for staff on Maternity leave for 1 year.

To become part of the Protocol Education teaching team at this Primary School you will:

· Have QTS, be an NQT or have the equivalent overseas qualification

· Experience in key stage 1 will be beneficial

· Able to provide support to children of varying ability in an innovative way

· Able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative

· Able to support the learning policies and become an active member of the teaching team

· Able to challenge the pupils appropriately
