Job description
A small rural School is seeking to appoint a full time, temporary Key Stage 1 Classteacher from 1st September.

The successful candidate will have:

• A proven track record of outstanding teaching and an excellent understanding of the new National Curriculum.

• An ability to forge excellent relationships with colleagues, parents and – most importantly – our children.

• An ability to be a team player who can demonstrate strong Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills.

• A creative vision to ensure that inspiring and motivating lessons are developed.

Applications are welcomed from both experienced and newly qualified teachers. In return, we offer a welcoming, friendly and supportive team who work together to ensure the best outcomes for all our children. We actively encourage high-quality CPD and offer opportunities to work with outstanding staff and outside consultants.

The post will be offered subject to an enhanced DBS check being successful.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
