Job description
Protocol Education is currently seeking an outstanding and dynamic full time Year 1 Teacher to join one of our primary schools in Sheffield

Our client is a school who has high expectations of all of pupils, both in their learning and wider development. They are looking for an experienced practitioner who can bring an engaging and warm atmosphere to the classroom and work well in a team. You will be dynamic, hard-working and passionate teacher who can effectively plan, deliver and asses Year 1 National British Curriculum to a high standard. On top of that, we are looking for individuals who are highly committed and are not afraid to step up when necessary and take on additional responsibilities and duties.

The ideal candidate MUST have an extensive experience working within the KS1 British National Curriculum, and in particular have a strong understanding of Year 1.

This is a full-time maternity cover role which will continue until July 2018.

The successful applicant must have:
• A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE or Cert Ed.)
• A minimum of 1 year UK teaching experience.
• Knowledge of KS1 British National Curriculum and the ability to plan differentiated work.
• A valid DBS or willing to undertake one.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Excellent teaching references.
• Strong behaviour management.
