Job description

The Governors and Headteacher of a primary school in Chesterfield are seeking to appoint a full time class teacher teaching a class of Year 1 children.

The successful candidate will have high expectations and demonstrate a commitment to raising standards and achieving the best for all our children, both academically and personally. He/she should be committed to inclusion and to providing exciting and stimulating learning opportunities for children of all abilities. He/she should also be able to form professional relationships with parents and staff.

The successful candidate must have a good knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and have a working knowledge of phonics and phonics teaching.
