Job description
Protocol Education are recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Barking & Dagenham looking for a Welfare Officer to join their friendly team. The position is to start after half term and is covering maternity.

Previous experience working in a school office is preferred, strong admin and organisational skills is essential, as well as experience working with primary aged pupils. You will be required to build a strong rapport with pupils across the school, be able to liaise effectively with parents and carers, as well as work with outside agencies and key staff within the school to improve attendance and attainment of pupils.

The school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted who praise the staff particularly on helping pupils who join the school throughout the year. Attendance is above average and the school has a highly inclusive nature. The school have high expectations of staff and pupils, and in turn you have a thoroughly supportive and caring school community.
