Job description
An outstanding school in Thornbury are looking for teachers to work in their KS1 and KS2 classes. As an OFSTED Outstanding school, they firmly believe their success is due to the children discovering an early love of learning. They offer a warm, welcoming and secure environment, in a school that believes in a strong sense of family community in close partnership with the church, parents, staff and governors.

Your responsibilities will be to implement the lesson plan that has been left, uphold classroom management and ensure children are engaged and getting involved with activities! At the end of the day, work must be marked, and a brief handover written if necessary.

Usual school hours are 8:30-3:30 but some half days may be required. There are part-time and full-time positions available so there will be a working pattern that suits your timetable! Primarily, the school is looking for someone who has a hands-on attitude and will get involved in all aspects of school life. Candidates must be enthusiastic and have a passion for working with children and education.
