Unqualified Humanities Supply Teacher - BS25 Secondary

We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the BS25 area to recruit confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support their Humanities department on an ongoing, ad hoc basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with an interest in working with young people who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment. You do not need to have classroom experience, but must be willing to learn, be outgoing and confident, and be easy-going and flexible.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-set lessons across Humanities subjects (e.g. History, Geography, RE)

• Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment

• Work flexibly, typically 2–4 days per week (pre-booked and ad hoc)

• No planning or marking required

What We’re Looking For:

• Confident individuals who can lead a classroom

• Experience working with young people (coaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work etc.)

• Strong communication and presence

• Interest in education or future teaching careers is a bonus

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
