Tutor for Afternoon Interventions of Maths and Literacy/Reading

A lovely school in Spalding is seeking a Tutor who can use their own initiative, is creative and can support with intervention in the setting or virtually. This role is temporary which has the potential to go long-term depending on the needs of the school. The Tutor would be required to teach fun and engaging interventions sessions 1 to 1 or in small groups. It will take place in the afternoon from 1:15-3:15. You would be expected to arrive at 12:30 and to finish at 3:30 if you were to do the tutoring face to face, this would give you time to prepare your intervention to ensure it is going to be effective and support the children to make great progress. If virtual, you would prepare and start and finish at the same times. You would be teaching a mixture of Maths, Literacy and Reading interventions.

Legal right to work in the UK
Hold QTS or a UK recognized equivalent teaching qualification;
Be able to provide 2 references, covering a minimum 6 month period within the last year, from senior members of staff who have seen you teach.
