Job description
Just a minutes' walk from Stepney Green Station we are now working with an individual tuition scheme, seeking qualified teachers to work 1:1 with a selection of students.

Are you looking to take a step away from the mainstream classroom and the ever-growing pile of planning and marking?

Continue your work impacting and improving the lives of young people and join our team of Tutors. You will be working with between 1-3 students per week and expected to deliver 3 1.5-hour blocks of teaching a day. Our students have not been able to access group education due to a range of needs, including long-term sickness, social and emotional difficulties, learning delays and medical needs.

Why would this be for you?
• Working with fewer students and providing more of a nurturing and catered learning experience.
• Evenings are yours - with lesser students and teaching time, you have time in the school day to complete your planning, marking and report writing.
• A Great team. With almost 18 Tutors already on board you can always find support and a friendly face.

What we need from you?
• Commitment. Monday - Friday. Hours 8:30 - 4:00.
• QTS! You must be a qualified teacher to apply.
• Ability to teach a range of subjects including Maths and English up to KS4.
• Passion for wanting to make a difference in the lives and education of vulnerable young people.

If you want to Teach but without the workload of a class Teacher please get in touch by calling 02032197745 or emailing ella.stevens@protocol-education.com.

We look forward to hearing from you!

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
