We are a growing National Supplier of Tuition to Children and Young People in care and we are eager to add more excellent tutors to our roster.

We require experienced educators to tutor looked after young people, and those with SEND in the West Midlands area. This tuition primarily covers the core subjects (English, Maths, and Science), from KS2 through to GCSE. Experience working with young people in care, children in need and/or those with SEND is highly desirable.

Tuition will normally take place in the home of the young person, with the carer or parent present at all times, in the students current provision, or at a neutral location such as a library,
The number of hours varies from 1 - 15 hours per week, per student. There is also the possibility to take on multiple students per week, if desired.

Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Minimum 2 year teaching experience
• Two professional references
• Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS)

It is a strict requirement that you have the ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.

This position involves tutoring in a temporary capacity to provide short-term engagements as and when they arise.

As a National Supplier we also pay you via our own inhouse payroll service which means you do not have to deduct your own NI and Tax contributions and there are no company NI deductions as you would if paid through an umbrella company.
