1:1 Tutors and intervention Teachers are needed to deliver core subject teaching from KS1 - GCSE.

In the current climate, there are 1.6 million children in the UK who are vulnerable or have SEND whom have no form of education to meet their needs.

We require experienced educators to teach young people, particularly those with SEND in Central, North and East London. This tuition primarily covers the core subjects (English, Maths, and Science), from KS2 through to GCSE.

Experience working with young people in care, children in need and/or those with SEND is highly desirable.

The needs of the young person will dictate where tutoring should be carried out. Tuition will normally take place in the home of the young person, on site of an Alternative Provision or Special School OR in some cases, remotely.

Essential requirements to be successful in the role are:

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills

• Knowledge of the National & Special Curriculum

• Substantial experience of working with pupils with SEND, with SEMH needs and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition.

• Awareness of child protection issues and commitment to safe practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
