Job description
Level 3 nursery nurse required for a large OUTSTANDING setting located in Downend Bristol

Job Role: Nursery Practitioner

Hours: Full time 40 hours per week

Job Location: Downend

Required Qualification: Level 3 or above

A beautiful Grade II building just set back off Downend Road. Wendover House, previously a Maternity Hospital, has had a complete restoration to create the fantastic purposely designed setting it is today with no compromises on internal and external space.

In 2016 we extended our Kindergarten Unit with an 21 foot glass wall Yurt and we are of the understanding that we are the only Nursery in Bristol to have a Yurt.
The role
This is a lovely opportunity to work as part of a small friendly team in a setting which is based on the grounds of the village school.

The setting serves Downend and surrounding areas including Frenchay, Emersons Green, Fishponds, Mangotsfield and further afield as we are just 5 minutes from the main ring-road. The Nursery can occupy 116.

The Nursery Suite may hold 37 children, Kindergarten may hold 28 children and Pre-School may hold 51 children.

Full Time - (40 hours per week between the hours of 7.30-18.30 all year round)

You would be a key person to a group of children and would carry out planning, observations and assessments for this group. We are looking for a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare and education.

Salary dependent upon experience
