Job description

I am working with a small ASD Secondary School Provision based in Radlett who are looking for quality Temp to Perm Learning Support Assistance to join their team to help influence and enhance the lives of their students.

Life at this school is very rewarding, always fun and no day is the same. They have a strong sense of community, helping children and young people belong both in the school and in the wider community is highly important to them. After spending some time at the school, I can 100% say that the school staff have a very welcoming, supportive and togetherness attitude which is felt from the first second.
The school offer ongoing training for staff to ensure they are kept current and able to continue to grow their knowledge as Learning Support Assistant.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Taking instruction from the class teacher
• Working on a 1:1 basis with children who have ASD and other associated needs
• Assisting with learning and social skills
• Personal care experience is ideal but not essential
• Carrying out interactive activities to help build their knowledge
