Are you looking for a rewarding career to support pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour? Do you have the ability to act as a role model and inspire pupils with SEN in their educational attainment?
We are actively seeking individuals who are Team Teach trained that want to work as a Learning support assistant in pupil referral units around the Northamptonshire area. There are many PRU's and Alternative provisions I work closely with that are looking for strong individuals. Working in a PRU or a similar setting can be very challenging, however if you have the ability to support pupils that present with challenging behaviour or social, emotional and behavioural difficulties then this could be the role for you.
For this SEN Learning support assistant role, you will:
• Must be Team Teach trained
• Have strong behaviour management skills.
• Be flexible in your approach.
• Have the ability to use own initiative whenever situations occur.
• Have worked in a PRU or a similar setting.
• Be committed in providing educational support to pupils.
If you are interested in applying for this role, send your C.V to or for more information call Jed at Protocol Education on 01604 214 715
Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
