Job description
Protocol Education are working with a well regarded SEMH school in Trafford who are looking to recruit a number of Teaching Assistants to support their young people with challenging behaviours.

The school is graded as Good by Ofsted and has a strong senior management team whose focus is on providing the best education for each student. Whether that is within the main school, the short stay provision or through the outreach team. Anyone joining the team should hold the same focus to encourage students to do the very best they can in every lesson and to be part of the family environment within the school.

For September, the school requires two Teaching Assistants who have been trained in Team Teach, within the last two years as students respond well to the de-escalation techniques. These posts are both full time, starting in September 2017 for the whole of the next academic school year. There is potential for these roles to become permanent in due course.

To be considered for these roles, you will need to have:

•A minimum of 6 months experience within a SEMH environment or Youth Services.
•Must be Team Teach trained. Although would consider PRICE trained instead.
•Be able to travel to Stockport to work from 8.30am to 4pm term time
•Hold a registered DBS on the update service.
•Able to commit to the role on a long term basis.

Due to this role being Team Teach dependent, this school has given us the go ahead to pay £70 a day with a review after Christmas.

Please contact the SEND team urgently for further details.
