New Family & Systemic Psychotherapist 2 days a week

Based in London Borough of Newham

Rate: £260-£360 per week (PAYE)

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Family & Systemic therapist to join a SEN school that aids and support strong values. Strong values including thriving social and emotionally healthy communities. A school that put the priority first that all students increase self-esteem and rebuilt positive confidence within themselves.

Qualification Required:
• Post-Grad qualification in relevant mental Health/ Social welfare profession and demonstrable practice over a minimum of three years,
• Masters/Diploma level qualification within the family therapy and systematic psychotherapy with UKCP
• UKCP registration
• AFT, the Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice

We are looking for the right ideal candidate who has recent experience as a Family systemic therapist within the last two years. Experience of specialists systemic assessment, preparation and intervention with clients across the full range of care settings. Ideally the right candidate will have a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems, verbal abuse and threat of physical abuse with a wide range of client groups.

Skills in the use of complex methods of psychological assessment intervention and management frequently requiring sustained and intense concentration. Skills in using a wide variety of systemic theories and intervention and the ability to use theses appropriate in relation to client need and work.

Key Duties within the role is to liaise closely with key colleagues, the multi-disciplinary clinical team and managers to deliver an intense treatment service for children enrolled within the school. Must proved systemic psychotherapy as independent professional at highly specialist level.
