Job description
Do you have any experience working with SEN (Special Educational Needs)? A school in the Teesside area is looking for SENd SEMH Teaching Assistants - Primary age, who is passionate about improving the lives of young people with SEMH. Team Teach is essential.


If you have experience or an excellent understanding in any of the following areas, I would like to hear from you:

·SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health)
·ASD (Autistic spectrum disorder)
·Managing Behaviour
·Complex Needs
. Team Teach

You must have strong knowledge or a well-known background around working with adults, young people or children with SEN. The work will include working as a Teaching Assistant with students with SEMH & Challenging Behaviour in small groups or 1:1.

You will be required to float across different classes at times and communicate well with a range of different staff members; both teachers and support assistants.

To apply for this position, you would ideally have the following:

·Have good communication skills
·Have strong and effective behaviour management
·Work well under pressure
·Have the ability to inspire students to be active and progress with learning
