The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to help create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Providing classroom support to teachers throughout the school day
• Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
• Supporting pupils with varying learning needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and participation in lessons
• Preparing classroom resources and assisting with daily classroom routines

What You'll Need

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Have previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Be confident supporting children across different primary age groups
• Have a positive, patient and professional approach
• Be able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
• Work effectively as part of a wider school team
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
• Be able to provide references covering recent school-based employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
