Job description
Teaching Assistants required in Merton

Protocol Education is seeking reliable, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistants for a mixture of long term and day to day roles.

You will be working with students between 3 and 19 years with special needs in one of our outstanding schools in Merton. You would be working with students with severe and complex learning difficulties and learners with an additional diagnosis of autism and/or physical/sensory difficulties. The school are looking for a teaching assistant to work 1:1 with students. It is fundamental that any candidate considering this position has prior experience working with students with special educational needs.

The school are looking for individuals that are:

•Passionate about working in education
•Experienced working with children with ASD, complex learning disabilities and visual/hearing disabilities
•Experience with PECs and Makaton
•Able to adapt and adjust to work in a challenging setting
Committed to implementing the school's ethos and values
